Photo Friday – Pt. 6

Hi Lovelies,

Hope you enjoy these photos from my week!

I get lots of random ideas. Sometimes things look great, sometimes they don’t. You decide. ‘Cafe au Lait’, cotton, and spotted lady’s thumb.

I’m not sure why I’m so in love with this bouquet. Tickseed, goldenrod, ‘Burmese’ Okra, ‘Giant Yellow’ Marigolds, ‘Aurelia’s Green’ Amaranth, and peach ‘Kurume’ Celosia. So cute, so fall!

Another view. I think being barefoot is more comfortable anyway!

Another day, another pair of shoes (am I right, ladies?!). Anywho, the green matched this bright bucket of zinnias so well that I couldn’t resist sticking my big ol’ feet into the frame. And seriously, did someone say “perfect bucket of zinnias”? These babies are gorgeous x10.

The cooler weather has slowed the zinnias down quite a bit, but this bunch was practically glowing in my hand – I had to stop and take a picture. LOL.

I’m not really a fan of this one, but I don’t care too much for pink. ‘Neon Cherry’ Dianthus, Zinnia, ‘Rebecca Lynn’ Dahlia, and some foliage.

Some seriously bright ‘Pampas Plume’ celosia. So disappointed that my seed package grew almost completely reds. Bummer.

    1. My seeds came from Baker Creek, but the mix wasn’t very equal. I’m not sure if this is common or not though. There were some really gorgeous neon colors, but most were red or maroon. 🙂

      1. Thanks. They look an interesting supplier. I was browsing their bean selection the other day and someone else recommend their brassicas. I feel an order coming on!

      1. Ohh my God! Thank you so much for your positive reply! It would be my pleasure, for sure I’ll tag you if I use any of your photograph! They are really inspiring! Cheers! 👍🏼 💁🏼

  1. This was the first year that I had a go at growing cut flowers and I have not been disappointed. The Zinnias have continued to provide me with everlasting colour, throw in a few orange Cosmos and the vase come alive. Great post, love your photos.

    1. Be careful! I started my flower obsession with a package of zinnias! Before you know it, you’ll have a yard filled with flowers! Not a bad thing, if you ask me! Lol. 🙂
