In continuing our post about ranunculus, it’s time to take a closer look at the Floret Pastel Lemon ranunculus. Though yellow flowers usually aren’t my favorite, I definitely wanted to give it a try. It’s not like I’m able to say ‘No’ to more ranunculus flowers.
As it would turn out, this mix of flowers is absolutely enchanting. While I was expecting to see all lemon colored blooms, I was so excited to see the more delicate peach and soft tangerine colored blooms, as well.
Some of the flowers are pure yellow, but many of them have a really pretty orange edging. I always love ranunculus flowers which are somewhat picotee. I won’t even mention the fluffy, double nature of every single one of these blooms.
The pastel lemon ranunculus were among the last ranunculus flowers to start blooming. I actually really like this attribute. Let’s face it, in my hot spring weather, ranunculus don’t tend to last very long before the heat gets the best of them.
Here’s a close up of my absolute favorite shade in the mix. So gorgeous! Now if I could only plant a big long row of these beauties!
