Growing Peaches N Cream Dahlia: Another Stunning Dahlia for Cut Flowers

I first bought a Peaches N Cream dahlia tuber about three seasons ago. This season, I wanted to add another, but I quickly found that they had been sold out – literally, everywhere. It seems that over the years, Peaches N Cream dahlia has also become insanely popular. Let’s just say, I think it’s for good reason. Check out some of these pictures from the garden –

I only had two Peaches N Cream dahlia plants this year. Even so, I was consistently rewarded throughout the season with beautiful blooms. As you can see, the color and pattern can vary quite a bit from one bloom to another. This flower on the right is a beautiful and consistent blush peach color.

The bloom in the photo above features more of the commonly seen and prominent peaches and cream color.

I also really love the consistent shape of these blooms. While I’ve never been any good at describing dahlia shapes, I just love how the petals of Peaches N Cream dahlia tend to curl backwards as the blooms continue to age.

There’s no doubt that this dahlia is one which I will continue to propagate and cherish in my garden for as long as I am able. What do you think? Have you ever grown Peaches N Cream dahlia before? I’d love to hear all about your experiences in the comments below. I hope you’re having a wonderful day!
