If you checked out the last post about the ‘Alexis’ chrysanthemum, then it is highly likely that you’ll recognize the form of today’s flower. ‘Apricot Alexis’ chrysanthemum is yet another absolutely stunning variety of florist mum that I purchased from King’s Mums this growing season. I can’t wait to show you more photos of this amazing peachy-orange color.
Even though I only grew one Apricot Alexis chrysanthemum plant, I was generously rewarded for my efforts. The bountiful blooms alone were enough to quickly make this mum become one of my favorites in the garden.
Comparatively speaking, Apricot Alexis mum was one of the late bloomers in my yard. In fact, you can see some frost damage in the center of the flowers if looking closely. Though I had covered the flower bed with a frost blanket, it had blown off over night due to high winds. Even so, the flower buds continued to open without much issue.
I will undoubtedly plant Apricot Alexis chrysanthemum in the future. Have you ever grown this mum before? What did you think? I’d love to hear all about your experiences in the comments below. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you’re having a great day!
Are these perennial for you??
