I don’t know much about Martha Stewart, but when I first saw these pink daffodils, I knew that I wanted to grow them. These Narcissus are quite a bit different than those which I usually buy. Though I’ve filled the garden with double blooms, these are one of the very few single types that I grew this season.
Since pink-salmon daffodils are much more sensitive to color fading, I made certain to plant these bulbs in a location that gets part shade during the day. In doing so, I was able to better preserve this incredibly gorgeous color. As you can see from the photo above, the outer rim of the pink is peachy colored and the inner bit is pale yellow.
Have you ever grown ‘Martha Stewart’ daffodil before? If so, what did you think? I’d love to hear all about your experiences in the comments below. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog!
