Over the last weeks, I’ve been carefully tracking and photographing this year’s trial of various daffodils. I’ve always love daffodils, and the opportunity to try so many different types has been very special. I plan to continue making individual posts dedicated to each type that I’m growing. However, some of these “group” photos were just too gorgeous to go unshared. I truly hope that you enjoy!
The vases above feature some of my favorite daffodils from this year. From left to right, we have ‘Acropolis,’ ‘Can Can Girl,’ ‘Sunny Girlfriend,’ ‘Peach Cobbler,’ and ‘Geranium.’
The ‘Pink Wonder’ daffodils were also especially lovely. Unlike many of the other “pink” daffodils, these seem to maintain their color very well – providing that they aren’t planted directly in the sun of course. My patch is growing in a nice spot that receives dappled light each spring.
What do you think? Did you have a favorite variety of daffodil in your garden this year? If so, I’d love to hear all about it in the comments below. I’m always looking to expand my collection of lovely Narcissus! Thank you so much for stopping by!
