‘Can Can Girl’ daffodil was very much of the Narcissus that I was most excited to grow last fall. For whatever reason, I’m always drawn to flowers that are full and double looking. Rather than the entire flower being double, ‘Can Can Girl’ daffodils are very unique. As you can see from the photos, the immense double cups are unlike anything I’ve ever seen!
‘Can Can Girl’ daffodil was among the heaviest of bloomers in my flower garden. Despite having only planted ten bulbs, I was rewarded with a large mass of beautiful blooms. I always love when plants perform well without much attention from me, lol.
I couldn’t help but want to take tons of close-up photos of the ‘Can Can Girl’ Narcissus. I haven’t checked whether or not these flowers are good seed or pollen parents for hybridizing, but it’s definitely something that I want to look into as I continue to experiment with growing daffodils from seed.
What do you think? Would you ever grow ‘Can Can Girl’ daffodils in your garden? I’d love to know your thoughts in the comments below. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you’re having a great day!
