When I planted ‘Rasta Parrot’ tulips last fall, I really didn’t know what to expect when they started to bloom. Much like most of the parrot tulips, they have these super unique frayed petals. This particular variety is made even more interesting due to their intense color.
The photo above does a pretty good job at showing the wide range of color. While yellow is the brightest, the petals are also splashed with shades of reddish-orange and purple.
Though very pretty, I’m not certain whether or not I would grow ‘Rasta Parrot’ tulip in the cut flower garden again. What do you think? Have you ever grown ‘Rasta Parrot’ tulip before? if so, I’d love to hear all about it in the comment section below. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog!
