‘Sir Winston Churchill’ daffodil was yet another Narcissus that was absolutely blasted by rain before I was able to get proper photographs. Still, I wanted to quickly post a few pictures to the blog in order to keep record of the varieties that I grew. In many bulb catalogs, I’ve seen that ‘Sir Winston Churchill’ daffodil is actually a sport of the ‘Geranium’ daffodil. If you’ve been following the blog, ‘Geranium’ was a very lovely variety which produced a profusion of multi-bloom stems.
To be expected, ‘Sir Winston Churchill’ daffodil is also insanely fragrant. This, in combination with its fluffy double petals, makes it an instant winner in my cut flower garden. In the future, I would love to continue growing ‘Sir Winston Churchill’ daffodil. Have you ever grown this variety before? If so, I’d love to hear all about your experiences in the comment section below. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog!
