As our focus on pink daffodil varieties continues this year, we come to the ‘Delnashaugh’ daffodil. Like so many others that I’ve already showed here on the blog, ‘Delnashaugh’ is a beautiful bright pink double bloom.
Though ‘Delnashaugh’ daffodil looks very similar to the likes of ‘Replete’ and ‘Pink Champagne,’ they did bloom just a little bit later than those just mentioned. It will be interesting to continue tracking bloom time in the future to determine which types I should continue growing.
I really like ‘Delnashaugh’ daffodils for their use in cut flower arrangements. In fact, one of their best traits seemed to be the strength of the stems and the manner in which the flowers were held. Unlike those which face down, upright facing blooms made this flower a favorite in the garden and for use in vases.
Have you ever grown ‘Delnashaugh’ daffodils before? If so, I’d love to hear all about your experiences in the comment section below. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog!
