In my last post, I shared one of my favorite flower arrangements that I had made so far this season. Today, I wanted to quickly post a few more that I had made with a few of the random odds and ends that didn’t quite make it into my kitchen. The first is this lovely purple arrangement which features quite a few stems of scented stocks. If you’ve been following along, you already know that I’ve had terrible luck growing scent stock in the past. For whatever reason, I’m finally having success!
To complete the arrangement above, I added the remaining Icelandic poppies and ‘Geranium’ daffodils. There are also some of the ‘Cummins’ fringed tulips hiding in there. I can’t help but feel that this small jar arrangement truly marked the end of the early spring bloom period here in the garden.Â
This arrangement featured even more of the hardy annual flowers. You can see that I added a lot of the ‘Kinglet Apricot’ calendula, as well as some wallflowers and pansies. Though yellow flowers are usually not my favorite, I really enjoyed how this one turned out. What do you think? Thank you so much for stopping by the blog!
Your flowers are so pretty. I want cut flowers so bad! This spring I planted even more bulbs and seed and hope to plant more this fall. Thank you for the wonderful look into your flowers.
