‘Pink Panther’ was another very lovely variety of Dutch iris that I grew for the very first time this season. As the name would imply, I assumed that ‘Pink Panther’ Dutch iris would bloom in a very pale shade of pink. As you can see from the photos, however, my blooms were very much a nice shade of lavender. Though I wouldn’t consider the flower to be a true pink color, this Dutch iris was still a very beautiful addition to the garden.
As I’ve grown more and more different types of Dutch iris, I can’t help but value their bright colors in flower arrangements. Shades of true lavender and true blue are often among the most difficult colors to find in the garden, so I very much look forward to seeing whether of not these ‘Pink Panther’ Dutch iris blooms will perennialize and return next season.
Have you ever grown ‘Pink Panther’ Dutch iris before? What did you think? I’d love to hear all about your experiences in the comment section below. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit the blog. I hope you’re having a great day!
