In a Vase: ‘Doublini Blue’ Lisianthus and ‘Doppio Allegretta Mix’ Petunias

After picking so many gorgeous shades of blue lisianthus flowers in the last post, I couldn’t resist trying to craft a flower arrangement with them. Admittedly, the cut flower garden is not going so well this season – it’s been rough.

While I didn’t have any filler or foliage type plants available for use in a vase, I did have these really lovely ‘Doppio Allegretta’ petunias. As you can see from the photo above, they are nearly identical in color to the ‘Echo Lavender’ lisianthus!

Though it was only a very small jam jar full of flowers, I did enjoy having it on my table inside. What do you think? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comment section below. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit the blog – I hope you’re having a great day!
