When it comes to garden planning, it’s not uncommon to find myself with an entire backyard filled with pastel colored blooms. In an effort to change that this year, I ordered quite a few varieties of darker flowers. Among these was the ‘Purple Flora’ gladiolus!
Having only purchased a small 10 count package of corms, I didn’t have too many ‘Purple Flora’ gladiolus blooms. Still, the flowers that did open were absolutely stunning. After taking over 100 pictures, I think I was finally able to capture their true color here in this blog post. The dark purple color is so richly saturated – some blooms even have a little hint of red.
Have you ever grown ‘Purple Flora’ gladiolus before? What did you think? I’d love to hear all about your experiences in the comment section below. Thank you so much for visiting the blog. I hope that you’re having a wonderful day!
