I have been trying to get my hands on some ‘Chato’ tulip bulbs for several seasons. After browsing catalogs online, I was totally drawn to their intense highly saturated pink color. Now that they’re in full bloom out in the yard, I’m very happy to report that I was not dissappointed!
Like most other double varieties, ‘Chato’ tulips open to produce large full double flowers. While these types of flowers are often called “peony tulips,” the resemblance is especially true when this bright color is considered! Though I didn’t notice any fragrance from the blooms, each of the stems were nice and strong.
What do you think? Have you grown ‘Chato’ tulips before? If so, I’d love to hear all about your experience in the comment section below. Thank you so much for visiting the blog! I hope that you’re having a wonderful day!
