As somewhat of a daffodil collector, I’m always on the lookout for new varieties to add to the cut flower garden. Last fall, the ‘Delta’ daffodil caught my eye while browsing at the home improvement store.
‘Delta’ daffodils are white, and have some really pretty orange streaking on the inside of the cup. Most of my flowers nodded down when in bloom. I’m not sure if this is their standard growth habit, or if this was caused by a recent round of severe thunderstorms.
I’m eager to see these flowers bloom again, so that I’ll have a better idea how useful they will be in flower arranging. I just love the ruffled aspect of the inner cup. It gives such a unique texture when compared to several other types that I grow.
What do you think? Have you ever grown ‘Delta’ daffodil before? If so, I’d love to hear all about your experiences down in the comment section below. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit the blog! I hope you’re having a fantastic day!
