Hi! I’m Tonya. I’m the one-woman show behind all things “FRESHCUTKY”. In 2010, I planted my very first seed. Having grown up in the city, I had never set foot in a garden. That season, I watched as a single pumpkin plant struggled to survive. Little did I know that one amazing little pumpkin would give way into an intense passion for sustainability, growing my own food, and cut flower production. Though I’m not a “professional,” this blog chronicles my journey towards the goal of owning my own farm and fostering my love of all things flowery.
The FRESHCUTKY garden is a 100% donation garden. This means that every flower grown is given to hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, and other organizations. Thanks to the tremendous support from our YouTube community, patrons, and wax melt box subscribers; we are able to continue these efforts. You are appreciated so, so much. Thank you.
Be sure to check out shop for seasonal exclusives like flower bulbs, flower seeds, and limited edition garden soaps! Over the course of each growing season, I also strive to keep the blog current and up-to-date with what’s happening in the garden.
